Federal Agency Advocates for Women
The following agencies or departments have designated a women-owned business "advocate" to act as a liaison. Together, with SBA, these agencies and departments are developing a systematic approach to expand the pool of women-owned small businesses (WOSBs) receiving federal contract awards and subcontract awards. The SBA and the liaisons from each of the agencies provide outreach, training, and marketing assistance to WOSBs. This group meets quarterly to assess the progress of the program, resolve problems, and develop new initiatives.
