Anne Martinez founded and currently serves as editor-in-chief
of a leading Web site about computer professional certification
GoCertify.com.
Martinez is the author of Get Certified And Get Ahead (McGraw-Hill
1998, 1999, 2000), Get Cisco Certified And Get Ahead (McGraw-Hill
1999) and Get Linux Certified And Get Ahead (McGraw-Hill
1/2000), and has contributed to several other titles. In addition
to writing books, she is a columnist for Certification Magazine,
and has written hundreds of articles for other publications on a
variety of topics. Marinez also co-founded and served as chairperson
of the first certification focused trade show - Technical Certification
Expo 2000, held in Las Vegas in May 2000.
As part of her studies of the certification marketplace, she has
earned several certifications including Microsoft's MCSE (Microsoft
Certified Systems Engineer) and Cisco's CCNA (Cisco Certified Network
Associate).
She has been interviewed for articles about certification that
have appeared in CIO Magazine, PC Week, Datamation, Computer Currents,
and other publications, and has appeared on computer-focused radio
shows.
Beyond certification, Martinez runs the Web site cheapwebtricks.com,
and serves as a consultant for a variety of clients.
