Beverly Brown

Beverly Brown is executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Exodus Communications, a leader in complex Internet hosting and managed services.

Brown has 31 years of high tech experience, 24 years of it at IBM in a variety of management positions in marketing, business development, strategy and sales. She is a past president and CEO of DataMan Software, Inc., a general management software consulting business specializing in e-business. She also served as an executive vice president for Praxis International, Inc., where she was responsible for sales, marketing, business development, and professional services. Prior to Praxis, Brown was vice president of marketing for the INGRES business unit of the ASK Group.

Brown is a member of the board of directors for Cognizant Design Group. She holds a B.S. in chemistry and biology from LadyCliff College and attended the Columbia Graduate School of Business.
