Lusan
Chua
Lusan
Chua joined the Center
for Democracy and Technology (CDT) in July 1998. Her work
focuses on policy issues surrounding the use of encryption technologies,
including network security, critical infrastructures, and law enforcement
access standards. She also organizes CDT's domain names management
project, which seeks to protect the open, decentralized nature of
the Internet. In addition, Lusan contributes to CDT's work on first
amendment issues.
Prior
to joining CDT, Lusan worked with technology startups in the corporate
securities practice group at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati
in Palo Alto, California. She has also worked in Internet marketing
and advertising. Lusan graduated from Stanford University with honors
in English and psychology. A native New Yorker, she enjoys swing
dancing and creative writing.
