Gayle Crowell
Gayle Crowell
serves as a director on E.piphany's
board of directors. E.piphany provides Web-based applications that
provide customer relationship management (CRM) analytic and operational
solutions to both business-to-business and business to-consumer
customers. She was past president and CEO at RightPoint Software,
a provider of enterprise applications for real-time, one-to-one
marketing. RightPoint was acquired by E.piphany in early January,
2000. With extensive talents in sales and organizational management
and a vision for how companies can develop lucrative and successful
customer relationships, Crowell had helped build RightPoint into
an industry leader and trusted partner to its customers.
Under
Crowell's direction in January 1998, RightPoint successfully evolved
from a data mining company into an applications company. A stellar
achievement of that evolution was RightPoint's highly acclaimed
application suite, the Real-Time Marketing Suite, which achieved
significant market visibility and penetration into the telecommunications
and financial services industries. A vocal proponent for customer-centric
marketing, Crowell's articulate vision and dynamic presence have
made her a highly sought-after keynote speaker and panelist at analyst
conferences, sales conferences and industry trade shows and events.
Prior
to joining RightPoint, Crowell spent more than a decade as a senior
executive in the enterprise software and call center software industries.
As a Senior Vice President and General Manager of ViewStar Corporation,
she led the successful pre- and post-merger integration activity
between ViewStar Corporation and DSI, later renamed Mosaix Corporation.
She created Oracle Corporation's first highly acclaimed indirect
channel program and during her tenure as Vice President of Worldwide
Sales at Recognition International, drove the adoption of Recognition
International's Plexus imaging and workflow software as a corporate
standard in more than twenty Fortune 500 companies.
Crowell
began her career as an educator for the State of Nevada and graduated
summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree from University
of Nevada at Reno.
