Melinda Cuthbert

Melinda Cuthbert is CEO of Shoptok, a provider of best-of-breed ecommerce systems that help online retailers to drive sales and product promotions by understanding their customers better.

Cuthbert has a Ph.D. in the study of emerging markets from Yale University and over 20 years of experience in marketing and business development. For the last 10 years, she has focused primarily on ecommerce, working in Internet and interactive television planning at pioneering companies such as Time Warner, Pacific Telesis, Pacific Bell and Mitsubishi.

Since joining ShopTok, Cuthbert has redirected the company's strategy, launched three major applications, secured $6 million in venture capital funding and spearheaded key strategic alliances with major Web brands such as Sega and Corner Hardware.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Cuthbert is the proud mother of two children, Cole and Clayton.
