Nora
Denzel is the vice president and general manager of storage organization
for Hewlett Packard,
a leading provider of enterprise storage management software.
Denzel has over 16 years of experience in engineering, marketing
and executive management in the software industry. Prior to joining
Hewlett Packard she was with Legato Systems, a leading provider
of enterprise storage management software. She also spent over 13
years at IBM, where her last position was director of the company's
storage management software products.
Denzel
has been recognized by Storage, Inc. magazine as one of the
top 20 Storage Movers and Shakers. She has also been honored by
the YWCA of Santa Clara County with a Tribute to Women in Industry
award for her contributions to IBM's software products. She serves
on the advisory board to Women in Technology International and is
on the technical advisory board of a startup.
Denzel
is a frequent speaker at international conferences, discussing trends
in computer storage. She is also involved in mentoring young executives
in high tech careers through the WOMEN Unlimited Program.
Denzel
holds a B.S. in computer science from the State University of New
York and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
