Lisa Friendly is the Senior Manager of Technical Publications and Information Design for Java Software at Sun Microsystems. She manages Tech Pubs for the three major Java platforms: Micro Edition, Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition. In addition she is the Managing Editor of the Java Series from Addison-Wesley and Sun. This is a series of developer-focused books on Java technology directly from the engineering team at Java Software. Dr.
Friendly holds a Ph.D. in psychological research from the Institute
of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University and has
been a member of the Java team at Sun Microsystems since its beginning
in 1993. |
