Deborah Harkins

Deborah Harkins is a Web designer at NextCard, Inc. In addition to redesigning NextCard's home site, Harkins created effective communications and innovative experiences through new media and technology for NextCard's co-brand channel, including NextCard's Amazon.com and BizRate accounts.

Prior to joining NextCard, Harkins contributed her talents to Charlton Research, a public option research company, where she successfully developed the ability to translate complex business solutions into graphical representations. Harkins gained extensive knowledge about Web design while consulting for a variety of San Francisco-based companies. She continues to expand her talents by creating site designs for non-profit organizations including San Francisco Women on the Web.

Harkins received an A.A in graphic design and production at SMCC. She completed her B.A in physical anthropology at UC Berkeley with a secondary emphasis on illustration for the natural sciences.
