Peggy Miles
Peggy
Miles is the founder and president of Intervox
Communications. Miles and her team at Intervox Communications
are longtime broadcast executives and communications professionals.
Miles is the founder and chairman of the International Webcasting
Association, www.webcasters.org, board member of the International
Council, National Academy of TV Arts and Sciences, Multimedia Advisory
Board - National Association of Broadcasters, Academy of TV Arts
and Sciences Interactive Forum, Enhanced Television Advisory
Board and others. She is author of several Webcasting/broadcasting
books, including Internet World's "Guide to Webcasting and Broadcasting
on the Net" and the Radio Advertising Bureau's training series,
"Selling the Net."
As founder
and chairman of the
International Webcasting Association, Miles organized competing
companies to work together on broadcasting and Internet issues dealing
with the coverage of broadcast to Webcasting to digital downloading.
The board includes senior level executives and CEO's from tvontheweb.com,
Real Networks, Microsoft.com Globix, Morgan Stanley-Dean Witter,
Channelseek.com, Intervu.com (a CNN invested company), Ginger Media/Virgin,
ITV.net/Popcast, and others. She also incubated the European component
of the International Webcasting.
