Denise Minter
Vice
president of production at Pacific
Data Images, oversees all of the global production efforts
for PDI's award-winning feature animation, and commercial and feature
effects divisions.
Most
recently, Minter served as senior producer for PDI's commercial
division where she produced a series of spots for the recent launch
of Sega's Dreamcast, as well as a spot for Coca-Cola titled, "New
Worlds." Prior to her work in commercials, Minter worked as a production
manager on PDI and DreamWorks' hit film "ANTZ," which grossed more
than $175 million worldwide. During this three-year project, Denise
supervised many departments, including layout, motion, lighting,
effects and production engineering.
Minter
joined PDI as a producer in 1993, and has produced notable commercial
projects for clients including Kraft, Mazda and Meow Mix. She also
produced the Emmy award-nominated Homer3 for "The Simpsons" 1995
Halloween Special.
After
pursuing graduate studies in communications and computer graphics
at New York Institute of Technology, Minter began her career as
a Paintbox/Harry Artist with the New York post-production facility
VCA Teletronics. From there, she took her talents to NBC where she
worked for NBC Sports live broadcasts. While at NBC, Minter also
worked as a freelancer for Saturday Night Live. She returned to
VCA Teletronics as an executive producer of computer graphics where
her clients included J. Walter Thompson, Sony Music, MTV and ESPN.
