Maureen Ohara-Norris is senior vice president of Personify's product development and product management organizations. Before Personify, she served as vice president of engineering at Legato Systems, where she oversaw an engineering organization that supported Legato's growth following its initial public offering (IPO) and rapid revenue growth from $29 million in 1995 to $228 million in 1999. At Legato, Maureen successfully grew the engineering organization from 30 to 200 software developers, managing cross-functional development staff including multiple engineering, quality assurance, documentation and sustaining groups. In addition, she integrated domestic and international engineering organizations from newly acquired companies into the overall development organization. Previously, Maureen worked at IBM for 14 years in multiple positions of increasing responsibility, beginning her career as a software engineer. She later served as engineering manager, overseeing development of new versions of IBM's software that addressed the distributed network business and leading groups responsible for Unix and PC-based products. Maureen graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in computer science. |
