Carolyn Rose

Rose is focused on making HyCurve the premier provider of Internet training and certification. Under Rose's direction, the company is dedicated to the training and certification of professionals with business strategy, creative and technical knowledge and skills needed to effectively implement Internet, intranet and extranet business solutions.

To carry out this mission, Rose has assembled a top management team with the expertise to make things happen. Additionally, she is establishing alliances with strategic partners who share the HyCurve vision and possess the expertise to provide world-class service and solutions to customers.

Prior to HyCurve, Rose held management positions at Novell, Excelan and Schlumberger Technologies. As senior vice president and general manager of Novell Education, she gained industry acclaim for pioneering Novell's family of certification programs and deploying a worldwide infrastructure of authorized education centers. She is credited with changing the fundamental model for IT certification and training, and setting the benchmark for professional certification and training in the IT industry.

Rose served on the board of directors of Virtual University Enterprises, was honored for her contributions to the IT training industry as recipient of the Information Technology Training Association's EDDY Award for Excellence, and received the Santa Clara Valley YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award.

Rose holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
