Melissa Sconyers

Melissa Sconyers, 15, is founder and president of ativity inc., a graphic and web design business, which is growing quickly. Sconyers is also the co-president of EasyBanners Inc., a Web banner design company. Sconyers was the behind-the-scenes producer for the GirlGeeks Take Our Daughters to Work Day Webcast 2000. Sconyers' most recent project is developing a Web site for an educational contest called ThinkQuest. My team's subject is eBiz4Teens (eB4T).

Sconyers is the youngest member of WITI and serves as an advisor for SmartGirls. Sconyers was a featured GirlGeek of the Week on the GirlGeeks site February 14, 2000.

Sconyers lives in Austin, Texas. She has been home schooled since 7th grade, and is currently a junior in high school, set to graduate in December 2000, at age 16. Sconyers' favorite subjects are English, and of course computers.
