Sheila Taylor
Sheila
Taylor is the global IT delivery manager for Chevron
Information Technology Company (CITC). She is responsible
for Chevron's computing and telecommunications infrastructure and
applications development and support worldwide. Prior to coming
to work for CITC in 1997, she led the IT Vision Team, developing
a new direction for how Chevron manages information technology.
Taylor
began her career with Chevron in 1982 as a financial analyst with
assignments in both finance and downstream business areas. She has
managed several special projects, including the elimination of Discount
for Cash and the Shell marketing purchase in Atlanta. She has had
a variety of positions in Chevron Products Company, including manager
of credit card marketing, marketing manager and operations manager
in the Southern Region in Atlanta, and manager of the Diesel Division.
Taylor
received a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford and a master's
degree in finance from the University of California at Berkeley.
She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, a mechanical
engineer, and has two children attending Stanford University. Both
are techies. One is studying computer science and math and the other
biology in preparation for veterinarian medicine.
