Who Inspire Us
Internet
Selina
Tobaccowala
Selina Tobaccowala is vice president of engineering and co-founder
of Evite.com,
an online company that helps groups mobilize around events using
the Internet. Tobaccowala co-founded Evite.com with fellow Stanford
student Al Lieb while studying at Stanford University.
Tobaccowala
co-developed Evite.com's application development and back-end implementation
technology. Prior to developing Evite's technology, Tobaccowala
prototyped the first interactive Website for Warburg Pincus and
was instrumental in the development of mission-critical GroupWare
applications.
When
she's not hiking with her friends or attending parties (organized
through Evite.com, of course!) Tobaccowala can be found directing
her team of engineers to ensure constant high performance from Evite.com's
site.
Tobaccowala
graduated from Stanford with a degree in computer science.
